Broker Eligibility by State

Terms and Definitions:

Full Reciprocity - Accepts all other states RE license without major requirements

Partial Reciprocity - Accepts some other states RE licenses with some requirements

Turf State - Does not allow out-of-state agents to conduct any brokerage, you may only collect referral fees, not participate in the deal.

Physical Location - You may broker real-estate transactions in that state but must physically be located outside the state.

Cooperative State - Allows an out of state agent/broker to collaborate with a local in-state broker, using a written agreement.
